IP has been among the fastest growing yogurt brands in the category since launching in 2016.
Distribution has grown from 600 to over 10,000 stores in only four years.
Retailers include Whole Foods, Wegmans, Safeway, Kroger, Target, HEB, Meijer, Publix, Ahold and Sprouts.
As of Fall 2020, the portfolio has 22 SKUs with new and exciting launches to come in 2021 and beyond.
Popular news/media outlet “Consumer Reports” reviewed all major yogurts in the category and concluded that IP was the #1 best tasting and healthiest.
In July 2019, IP launched a new whole milk range that has already garnered two different World Dairy Innovation Awards, numerous top picks from key offline and online news media and shout outs by celebrities like Sarah Jessica Parker (unpaid). And in 2020 IP launched an extension of that line called Fruit & Nuts.
Icelandic Provisions has a solid consumer and business base to build on and now we’re looking for a motivated and passionate marketer to help grow awareness and love for the Icelandic Provisions brand by bringing it to life in all channels. We are a startup so it’s essential that this individual is comfortable with working in a dynamic, ever-changing work environment.
The Marketing Intern role will live and breathe our brand and help translate it in marketing tactics so ultimately consumers know us, join us, stay loyal to us, and advocate for us. This role ideally will require 20 hours/week for 6 months. This is a paid internship.
Support the Marketing team across functions including Brand Marketing, Shopper Marketing, and Marketing Communications
Act as point of contact for general administration needs of Marketing team and support cross functional requests
Lead weekly updates to Marketing agenda team discussion
Organize team meetings and manage action item follow ups within team and cross-functional meetings
Support Marketing team through presentations including screen sharing, following up with sharing documents, etc
Audit retailer websites to ensure that content, imagery, links are up to date with latest and greatest information
Organize current library of content – identify buckets of content types, clear out old versions of files
Create folders for future content creation from our agencies
Provide monthly updates on competitive activity from a shopper / brand marketing perspective including recent advertising, promotions, partnerships, social posts, etc
Support all retailer accounts by ensuring they have all needed and available imagery for upcoming execution in proper size, format, SKU, and angle
Partner with Sales team and broker network to share library of resources for promotional support, feature & display ads, etc
Manage and ship shipments of sample product, packaging, swag, etc for both marketing team and sales team – this can be for PR/Influencer mailings or for sales and distributor meetings
Monitor and organize inventory in office, ordering samples, swag, packaging when needed
Build and manage tracker of shipments to ensure addresses and timing are organized
Manage and organize Marketing team Dropbox folder including removal of old files, consolidating presentations, and general maintenance
Pursing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or other related field OR post graduate with a desire for marketing experience
Strong copywriting skills
Strong communication skills
Can work autonomously
Enjoys working in a collaborative environment
Ability to wear multiple hats and pivot without notice
Has passion for marketing and willingness to learn
Has passion for the natural foods industry and health + wellness.
Approaches work with high integrity, strong EQ and accountability
A healthy fascination with Iceland is a plus.
